Bowmore 1999, Queen of the moorlands - 90/100
distilled 1999
bottled 2010
bottler: queen of the moorlands
bottle 20 of 199
cask 352
Abv 53,5%
nose: peat, flowers, marshland, vanilla
taste: surprisingly sweet, tickling, warm, Dutch "speculaas"
finish: just delicious
To be honoust, this was a present. But, boy, what a present indeed!!! This is a VERY nice dram. This is going to be one of my favourite bottles to sip from - maybe even maltstock or a 90-points tasting worth... And many thanks to the giver again!!
